Anwojue Hope Foundation Hosts 9th Medical Outreach in Ogbere Community
Anwojue Hope Foundation (AHF) continued its mission to support underserved populations by hosting a comprehensive free medical outreach in the Ogbere community, located in the Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Held on Saturday, April 11, the event provided vital health services to residents, many of whom have limited access to regular medical consultations.
Key Highlights of the Outreach:
• Medical Services: Residents received free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, followed by private consultations and counseling with medical professionals.
• Health Education: The team conducted awareness sessions focused on managing and preventing hypertension and diabetes.
• Holistic Support: In addition to medical care and prescribed medications, the foundation distributed food packs to all registered beneficiaries to support their overall nutritional well-being.
Our Mission in Action
Project Manager Mrs. Busayo Eniade emphasized that this event marks the foundation’s ninth successful community outreach in Ogun State.
“Our objective is to paint the communities with smiles—especially the underserved communities. Despite having our office in Abeokuta, we prefer visiting rural areas where these supports are truly needed.”
The program saw an overwhelming turnout, with Programmes Assistant Austin Ebibo noting that the community response exceeded expectations. Residents left the event with both improved health metrics and invaluable tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Community Impact
Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the personalized care they received. Local residents, including Mrs. Sola Olorunfola and Mr. Abayomi Fakoya, shared that the detailed guidance from the medical team provided them with a clear path toward better self-care and long-term health.
The Anwojue Hope Foundation remains committed to bridging the healthcare gap in rural Nigeria, one community at a time.
