The Anwojue Hope Foundation held a free medical outreach on the 27th of June 2025 at the Abigi Town Hall, Ogun Waterside. The outreach focused on promoting access to basic healthcare and improving wellness among elderly residents in the community. It was a vital step toward supporting those who often face barriers to regular medical services.

The main objective of the outreach was to promote essential health care services and create awareness on how to live a healthy life, especially among aged individuals. The target audience consisted of elderly people in the Abigi community, particularly those aged 40 and above.

Services provided during the outreach included general consultations, screening for blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and malaria, as well as the provision of malaria drugs to participants. A health talk was also delivered by Precious Soremekun (RN)who spoke on preventive care, lifestyle choices, and healthy aging.

A total of 100 participants benefited from the outreach. The medical team comprised one professional doctor, one registered nurse, two health assistants, One laboratory technician and a team of dedicated volunteers from Anwojue Hope Foundation.

The event witnessed the presence of notable community leaders including the King and Queen of Abigi Kingdom and several community chiefs. Both the King and Queen applauded the initiative, commending the organizers and encouraging continued community-based support and intervention.

Anwojue Hope Foundation expresses heartfelt appreciation to all team members, volunteers, and community leaders who contributed to the success of this outreach.
