The program aimed to introduce fundamental computer skills to participants with little to no prior knowledge. The topics covered were:<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><b>Importance of Computer Literacy:<\/b> Participants learned why computer skills are essential in today&#8217;s world, from education to future careers.<\/li>\n<li><b>Input and Output Devices:<\/b> We explored how computers receive information (input devices like keyboards and mice) and how they present information back to us (output devices like monitors and printers).<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"attachment-container search-images\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div class=\"image-container ng-star-inserted\" data-full-size-image-uri=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com\/licensed-image?q=tbn:ANd9GcTGQJU8Y4TMnLlm3o0wO9KikiYMdKTSncvViaVncIF5ZjNmQgngsuTRO8Hagsvn1LTScUOHyk9E5QXmkYJMrAawSwBW19TdqUov3GvNPCnl4nM4CXY\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><b>Software and Hardware:<\/b> The distinction between <b>hardware<\/b> (the physical parts of a computer) and <b>software<\/b> (the programs and applications that run on it) was clearly explained using simple, relatable examples.<\/li>\n<li><b>Basic Operations:<\/b> The teenagers were taught the correct procedures for <b>turning a computer on and off<\/b>, ensuring they understood the importance of a proper shutdown.<\/li>\n<li><b>Document Creation:<\/b> Hands-on sessions were held on <b>word processing<\/b>, where participants learned to type, format, and save documents using both <b>Microsoft Word<\/b> and <b>Google Docs<\/b>. This was a highlight for many, as they could immediately see their progress.<\/li>\n<li><b>Internet and Email:<\/b> The final part of the training focused on <b>internet exploration<\/b> and <b>email management<\/b>. The training provided them with a strong foundation and boosted their confidence in using computers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Based on the success of this program, we plan to host more advanced sessions in the future, covering topics like coding, graphic design, or website building. The positive feedback and a clear need for such training highlight the value of our initiative.
