The organization starts the year and ends the year by putting smiles on the vulnerable faces through the <\/span><span class=\"s21\">foundation\u2019s <\/span><span class=\"s21\">resources and supports from the <\/span><span class=\"s21\">BODs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s23\"><span class=\"s22\">The <\/span><span class=\"s22\">focus <\/span><span class=\"s22\">is <\/span><span class=\"s22\">on<\/span> <span class=\"s22\">the provision of resources to <\/span><span class=\"s22\">support the vulnerables and <\/span><span class=\"s22\">on capacity <\/span><span class=\"s22\">building <\/span><span class=\"s22\">for<\/span> <span class=\"s22\">in and out of school girls by providing \u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s22\">over <\/span><span class=\"s22\">1100 sanitary pads to 1100 girls in Osun and Ogun <\/span><span class=\"s22\">States. <\/span><span class=\"s22\">It also seeks to promote <\/span><span class=\"s22\">education among secondary school girls <\/span><span class=\"s22\">and make learning <\/span><span class=\"s22\">easy as lack of sanitary <\/span><span class=\"s22\">pads <\/span><span class=\"s22\">will not be a good reason to skip school.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Organization Summary<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div class=\"s31\">\n<div class=\"s6\">\n<p class=\"s32\"><span class=\"s33\">Putting smile on the faces of the vulnerables<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"s10\">\n<p class=\"s34\"><span class=\"s35\">Anwojue Hope Foundation<\/span><span class=\"s36\"> (AHF<\/span><span class=\"s36\">) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on <\/span><span class=\"s36\">putting <\/span><span class=\"s36\">smile <\/span><span class=\"s36\">on the vulnerable <\/span><span class=\"s36\">faces <\/span><span class=\"s36\">and <\/span><span class=\"s36\">capacity building for in and out school girls <\/span><span class=\"s36\">in <\/span><span class=\"s36\">Nigeria. <\/span><span class=\"s36\">It was founded in <\/span><span class=\"s36\">2019 <\/span><span class=\"s36\">out of the philanthropic gesture of <\/span><span class=\"s36\">Mr Adeolu Anwojue. The <\/span><span class=\"s36\">Foundation started its activities <\/span><span class=\"s36\">with donation of wheelchair to Mr Olushola Ibitayo in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s37\"><span class=\"s36\">Direct beneficiaries of <\/span><span class=\"s36\">AHF resources <\/span><span class=\"s36\">are now about <\/span><span class=\"s36\">1500 <\/span><span class=\"s36\">across <\/span><span class=\"s36\">various secondary schools and the <\/span><span class=\"s36\">sectors of the <\/span><span class=\"s36\">economy at large. <\/span><span class=\"s36\">AHF <\/span><span class=\"s36\">impacts <\/span><span class=\"s36\">have <\/span><span class=\"s36\">been felt by more than <\/span><span class=\"s36\">10,000 direct and indirect beneficiaries <\/span><span class=\"s36\">in the South Western part of Nigeria. \u00a0Major activities of the Foundation include <\/span><span class=\"s36\">d<\/span><span class=\"s36\">onation <\/span><span class=\"s36\">of sanitary pads to in and out of school students, donation of relief materials, <\/span><span class=\"s36\">donation <\/span><span class=\"s36\">of <\/span><span class=\"s36\">s<\/span><span class=\"s36\">chool <\/span><span class=\"s36\">materials <\/span><span class=\"s36\">to physically <\/span><span class=\"s36\">challenged students, <\/span><span class=\"s36\">donation <\/span><span class=\"s36\">of wheelchairs <\/span><span class=\"s36\">&amp;<\/span> <span class=\"s36\">crutches and financial empowerment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Partner<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10722\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10722\" style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10722\" src=\"https:\/\/anwojuehopefoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/leo-logo.jpg\" alt=\"leo club logo\" width=\"224\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anwojuehopefoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/leo-logo.jpg 224w, https:\/\/anwojuehopefoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/leo-logo-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10722\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">We Partnered with LEO Club to reach more people.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"s44\">We partnered with the <\/span><span class=\"s44\">LEO CLUB <\/span><span class=\"s44\">of <\/span><span class=\"s44\">Ede to <\/span><span class=\"s44\">sensitize <\/span><span class=\"s44\">150 female students in Timi Agbale and Seventh day adventist school<\/span> <span class=\"s44\">on Menstrual hygiene and self esteem.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Project Description<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"s53\">AHF <\/span><span class=\"s53\">kickstarted <\/span><span class=\"s53\">her major activity of the <\/span><span class=\"s53\">year, which was the <\/span><span class=\"s53\">PAD A GIRL project for <\/span><span class=\"s53\">2020. <\/span><span class=\"s53\">T<\/span><span class=\"s53\">he <\/span><span class=\"s53\">project was <\/span><span class=\"s53\">launched on the <\/span><span class=\"s53\">30th <\/span><span class=\"s53\">of <\/span><span class=\"s53\">June, <\/span><span class=\"s53\">2020 <\/span><span class=\"s53\">and it ended on the <\/span><span class=\"s53\">27th <\/span><span class=\"s53\">of <\/span><span class=\"s53\">November, <\/span><span class=\"s53\">2020. Sanitary pads were given to <\/span><span class=\"s54\">1500 <\/span><span class=\"s54\">girls <\/span><span class=\"s53\">in <\/span><span class=\"s53\">Osun and Ogun state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s53\">2020 pandemic was a major crisis all over the world, Nigeria as a country was not exempted. Osun State was the major target of the organization to disburse RELIEF MATERIALS. Due to restriction of movement, the relief <\/span><span class=\"s53\">materials were limited <\/span><span class=\"s53\">to Ede and <\/span><span class=\"s53\">Ido<\/span><span class=\"s53\"> in Osun State. 170 <\/span><span class=\"s53\">vulnerable people <\/span><span class=\"s53\">were reached with the <\/span><span class=\"s53\">COVID-19 <\/span><span class=\"s53\">RELIEF SUPPORT MATERIALS. These <\/span><span class=\"s53\">COVID-19 <\/span><span class=\"s53\">RELIEF MATERIALS included Rice, sachet tomatoes and vegetable <\/span><span class=\"s53\">oil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 through our #PADAGIRL project in Osun and Ogun <\/span><span class=\"s44\">States.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s56\"><span class=\"s57\">\u25cf\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s44\">170 vulnerables were reached through our relief support <\/span><span class=\"s44\">during the <\/span><span class=\"s44\">p<\/span><span class=\"s44\">andemic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s56\"><span class=\"s58\">\u25cf\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s44\">40 school sandals and 50 school bags were given to students at Daniel Akintode school <\/span><span class=\"s44\">for<\/span><span class=\"s44\">the physically <\/span><span class=\"s44\">challenged, <\/span><span class=\"s44\">Adigbe, <\/span><span class=\"s44\">Abeokuta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s56\"><span class=\"s57\">\u25cf\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s44\">F<\/span><span class=\"s44\">inancial <\/span><span class=\"s44\">empowerments for 3 women and 2 men in Abeokuta,Ogun <\/span><span class=\"s44\">State.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s59\"><span class=\"s57\">\u25cf\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s44\">2 wheelchairs was given to Makinde Oyindamola in Ogun State and Darasimi in Osun State<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s56\"><span class=\"s57\">\u25cf\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s44\">1 Crutches was given to Mr Ezekiel Adegboye in Osun <\/span><span people<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>RECOMMENDATIONS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Based on the participation level in the #PADAGIRL project, subsequent donation of pads should focus on every zone in the country.<\/li>\n<li>More efforts should be made in terms of strategic partnerships for future initiatives so as to avoid the bulk of the responsibilities being on AHF.<\/li>\n<li>Subsequent project #PADAGIRL should be structured in a competitive way with a financial reward for the overall best participants.
